CD Plast Engineering, mechanical design office specialized in technical development, uses, among others, MSC Software and Abaqus Simulia for mechanical simulation in the field of structural calculation .

CD Plast Engineering uses structural calculation / FEA calculation in order to apprehend the behavior of parts and assemblies in static deformation, during falls , shocks (acceleration, deceleration) and vibrations. Each simulation makes it possible to determine the displacements, the constraints and the efforts .

Static and dynamic calculations (falls and shocks) integrate:

  • the non-linear behavior of materials, in particular for polymers, making it possible to determine the behavior of the material, to simulate large deformations , resistance to rupture , plasticity , hyper-elasticity, etc.
  • the contacts (1D, 2D and 3D) involving sliding and friction between each part.
